Ok, i'm a little confused. Where did all my hard earned points go? What is useable points? Can someone please explain.

Ok, I understand it completely, but I do have to admit that reading the article, the explanation and the idea of usable and unusable points is still a tad confusing. Obviously, some people on here, lord knows why, get this big thing of having 100000000000 points and having them all shown at once. I could care less but obviously i, once again am the minority and my opinions don't go along with the norm. I'm used to this now.
Why not just keep it simple and determine a certain number of points and everyone over a certain number of points, total points this is, gets put into a drawing. That might pasify those who have such a big freekin problem with all this. what pisses me off is that people actually thought they lost all their points, and now that these points that were once useless are actually being put to some good use and giving people premium memberships, people *still* complain? shiiiiiiit. I guess you can't please everyone. no matter what the people who run this site do, they're always gonna be bitched at.
i think i understand....the points we have now are used for the games and stuff, and once they are gone, we use the other points still stored in the acount. is that right?
No. unusable points is just a measure of how many points you've ever won on the site. It isn't actually used for anything apart from that. Usable points are what you use for the games, and it is when you get over a certain number of usable points that you will then get entered into a free premium membership drawing. Once that drawing has taken place, you will then have your usable points reset, and however many you had before the reset will be added to your unusable points tally, just so that you'll always know how many points you've accrued on the site. Total points is simply how many points you have taking into account both your usable and unusable points together.
It might sound like a complicated system but really all you need know is your usable points tally. The rest of it is largely unnimportant unless worthless statistics mean a lot to you. It's the usable points that you will be using, all the time.

What is the sense in having loads of points in my total if I can't use them? Could someone put it back to how it was in the first place?
Hi there, How often will these point resets happen? Is this going to be on a specific set of dates? Do you think you could put out total points below our usable points under the games heading on the main page? I know when premium members are invisible they can not press their link on the main page to see what their total points are.

this was the dummest thing ever thought of and I will not renew my member ship cause I earned my points and I want to use them as I see fit. boo to the new point idea!!

We haven't come up with firm dates or totals. Our current best guess is that drawings will be once per year.
I'm not complaining because honestly I like the new system as apposed to having points that can do nothing for us...But, is it necessary to reset everyone entered in the drawing. Wouldn't a half reset work since they're getting nothing if they don't get drawn? And, is it possible to let those who have the proper amount of points choose whether they want to be entered or not? Just some thoughts...Who knows, I might be fogging out do to pain meds, but trying to think of something as another option to the debates flying around here. And, my hat's off to the admins and so forth around here. I like the site, and now that the points are worth something (or at least possibly) I find it much funner to play the games and stuff. I'm even considering getting a premium membership...Had one before under a different name, but didn't see the point in renewing it since all the points I had were worth nothing accept playing the games, and I don't care about billions of points that just sit there and do nothing. Just my 2 cents...
